Bruised and broken..
Bent and torn..
Sad and fearful..
Warned and tearful..
Horror and tragedy..
Death and depression..
Shock and disbelieving..
Broken-hearted and crying..
Terror and killing..
Sorrow and war..
Withdrawn and inevitable.
How horrible this all is, and yet
Instead of turning away,
I'm headed for it all.
It is the future and by all means
I cannot escape...
